Beta Testing Agreement
Last updated: 6 October 2026
This Beta Testing Agreement (“Agreement”) governs your access to and use of pre-release versions of Monster Switch, Monster Switch CONNECT and Monster Review (the “Beta Software”) provided by Creature Creative LTD, trading as Creature Audio(“we”, “us”). By downloading, activating, or using the Beta Software you agree to this Agreement. It applies in addition to the EULA and takes precedence where the two conflict, for the pre-release period only.
Invited to a Monster Review project?If you use Monster Review (review.creatureaudio.com) through a link a studio or mixer sent you, section 11 explains which parts of this Agreement apply to you. In short: it’s a beta, so keep your own record of anything important, but the confidentiality and licence terms don’t apply to you.
1. Pre-release, as-is
The Beta Software is unfinished and provided for testing only. It may contain bugs, may be unstable, and may change or be withdrawn at any time. It is provided “as is” with no warranty of any kind. Do not rely on it for critical or professional work, and keep backups of your projects and settings.
2. Confidentiality
The Beta Software and everything you learn about it that is not public—including its features, design, screenshots, performance, and any bugs—is confidential. Until we publicly release the product, you agree not to:
- share, post, stream, or publish screenshots, video, or descriptions of the Beta Software;
- discuss its features or existence publicly or with anyone outside the beta programme;
- share, copy, or redistribute the Beta Software, installers, or your licence key to anyone else.
This obligation ends when the relevant information becomes public through us, or when we tell you it no longer applies.
3. Feedback
We’d love your feedback. Any feedback, bug reports, or suggestions you give us are provided voluntarily, and you grant us a free, worldwide, perpetual right to use them to improve and commercialise our products, with no obligation or payment to you.
4. Licence for the beta
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the Beta Software for evaluation and testing during the beta period, on the number of machines permitted by your licence key. The licence ends when the beta period ends or when we ask you to stop.
5. No fee, no obligation
Beta access may be offered free of charge (including via discount codes). This does not create any obligation on us to release the product, to provide a final version, or to provide a free or discounted final version, unless we say so in writing.
6. Data
We may collect diagnostic and usage information during the beta to find and fix problems, handled in line with our Privacy Policy.
7. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the Beta Software. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
8. Termination
We may end your beta access at any time. On termination, or at the end of the beta period, you must stop using and remove all copies of the Beta Software. The confidentiality obligation in section 2 survives until the information becomes public.
9. Governing law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
10. Contact
11. Monster Review: clients and collaborators
Monster Review is a web tool that lets a studio or mixer share a project with the people they work with, so they can listen and leave notes. If you take part through a link or invitation from a studio or mixer (rather than as a Monster Switch beta tester), then by ticking “I understand and agree” you accept the following:
- It’s a beta.Monster Review is pre-release and provided “as is” (section 1). It may change, be unavailable, or not always work as expected. Keep your own record of any notes or approvals that matter to you, and confirm important decisions with the studio directly.
- Your notes are shared with the project. Everything you add (your name, initials, notes, replies and approvals) is visible to the studio and to everyone else with access to that project. Audio you play stays on your own device and is never uploaded to us.
- Feedback about Monster Review itself is welcome and is covered by section 3. Data and liability are covered by sections 6 and 7, and our Privacy Policy.
- Not applicable to you: the confidentiality obligations in section 2, the licence terms in section 4 and the removal obligations in section 8. They apply only to Monster Switch beta testers.
- The project itself (its music, files and notes) belongs to the studio and its clients, not to us. Any confidentiality around it is between you and the studio.
